   Thanks for throwing such a great birthday party, Merge! I had an *amazing* time and I made new friends and it was a magical five days.

   What a wonderful time it was. It was a very difficult week for me. My kitty got very sick all of a sudden, had surgery on Friday, and died on Saturday. All the Merge people were following me on Twitter and were hearing about my time at Merge and my cat. On the final night, I got so much love. It saved me!

   I’d been listening to Merge artists for years, way before I moved to North Carolina. Helps me know even more than I’ve found home.
