The Broken West will be the backing band for actor Jason Segel and his Dracula puppet on “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” tonight, December 15. The show airs at 12:35 am (EST) on CBS. Check your local listings for channel information.
This is Craig Ferguson’s 1000th show, and it’s all puppets. Jason Segel is manning his Dracula puppet from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and The Broken West will back up Dracula on a song called “Dracula’s Lament.” Although you won’t be able to see the band, you will be able to hear them play and sing!
Watch the “Dracula’s Lament” scene from Forgetting Sarah Marshall below! The Broken West’s most recent album, Now or Heaven, is available in the Merge store.
I’m more of a “song” kind of guy, so most of my list is comprised of favorite tracks of 2009. However, there were a handful of records that I listened to on repeat. Also, I threw in a TV show, a webshow, and a music festival that really helped to make my year. Happy holidays to everyone and a happy 2010! (And, I hope it goes without saying, these are in no particular order.)
