#1 Case and Marcella's birthday June 2nd, 2010 #2 Villagers - the CD we listened to on the way to the hospital #3 Beach House - the CD we listened to in labor #4 Laura Veirs - July Flame - the CD we listened to on the way home from the hospital #5 Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child - this book's 10 years old but it saved our sanity #6 Arcade Fire "The Suburbs" Sept 30th concert - riding bikes in the PDX autumn heat to the show of the year with our 15 year old niece who slyly introduced herself to Win backstage by bringing me a beer.  Oh and that record's good too. #7 Ali Farka Toure and Toumani Diabate's "Ali and Toumani" - nightly used during baby bath time! #8 XMU - on all day all summer long during maternity leave #9 Kings of Convenience "Declaration of Dependence" - got me thru the first night of sleep training, otherwise known as 'crying it out' #10 Superchunk @ SxSW 2010 - my last hurrah before parenthood, my restoration of my faith in rock, and thank you Christina for that weird tequila drink!   More >
