Merge 25 Festival: First round of bands & on sale date announced

Merge Records invites you to North Carolina to help us celebrate our 25th Anniversary at Merge 25, a music festival featuring Wye Oak, The Clientele, Destroyer, Caribou, Lambchop (performing Nixon), Neutral Milk Hotel, The Rock*A*Teens, Ex Hex, Bob Mould and many more.

Full Festival Passes are $195 and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 21 at 11 am EST via the Cat's Cradle website. Limit of 2 per customer.

The Merge 25 Festival Pass guarantees entrance to the following events:
July 23 Baldwin Auditorium, Duke University Campus, Durham, NC
July 24 Cat's Cradle, Carrboro, NC
July 25 Cat's Cradle, Carrboro, NC
July 26 Full Day Music Concert, outdoors, Carrboro, NC

Opening night & closing night party details to follow!

You will receive your physical Festival Pass when you arrive at Merge 25.

Festival Passes will likely sell out quickly, but there will be a limited number of individual tickets available for each event:
The individual event tickets for the events in Carrboro will go on sale Wednesday, March 26.
The individual tickets for the concert in Baldwin Auditorium will go on sale Tuesday, April 22.

The video, which captures the sweaty, rollicking shows Bob and his band are known to put on, as well as other aspects of touring life, is directed by Dave Markey (1991: The Year Punk Broke). Stay tuned until the grand finale, when a special guest makes a sly appearance. Join Bob and his bandmates Jason Narducy and Jon Wurster on tour in "The War."
