Mount Moriah announce November tour with Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside

In addition to a career-spanning performance at the Hopscotch Festival on September 6, Mount Moriah have announced new tour dates with Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside in November.

See a full list of dates below, and watch the new video for "White Sands" from Miracle Temple, too.

The video was co-directed by Soleil Ananda Konkel and Jesse Paddock and filmed in the bands’ hometown. In their premiere, SPIN wrote, “When reviewing Mount Moriah’s recently released sophomore album, Miracle Temple, SPIN’s Mike Powell noted, ‘Like good country, Miracle Temple is capable of painting a world where the past comes back in part because people aren’t really strong enough to keep it at bay.’ Fitting then that the North Carolina trio’s latest video, for homecoming ballad ‘White Sands,’ is preoccupied with nostalgia, acceptance, and geography, according to frontwoman Heather McEntire.

Mount Moriah was chosen as one of SPIN’s 5 Best New Artists and Popmatters deems Miracle Temple “a lush, deeply layered, sunburst of a record.” The band's World Cafe session aired recently, and other positive reviews of Miracle Temple can be found at Pitchfork, the A.V. Club, American Songwriter, MTV Hive and more! Watch their stripped down performance of “Bright Light” for WFUV at Austin’s famous Hotel San Jose & their visit to WBEZ Chicago’s Afternoon Shift. And, the lovely video for “Bright Light” is on YouTube.

Watch & share the video for “White Sands” and find a full list of tour dates below. Miracle Temple is available now on CD, LP and digital in the Merge store.
