The Concert to Defeat NC Amendment One featuring Bob Mould, The Love Language, Superchunk & more!

Merge Records is teaming up with the Haw River Ballroom, Cat's Cradle and others in opposition to North Carolina's Amendment One including the Coalition to Protect ALL North Carolina Families - to throw a Benefit Concert with Bob Mould, David Cross, Stuart McLamb of The Love Language, Tig Notaro, Amber Tamblyn and Superchunk (Acoustic Duo.) The concert will be held on May 6 at the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, NC.

Deluxe reissue of Superchunk's "Foolish" out today!

Merge has reissued Superchunk’s landmark 1994 album Foolish, and it's available today on CD, LP, and digital download. Foolish has been remastered for this reissue and will feature some different album art and extensive liner notes by drummer Jon Wurster.

Superchunk & Coliseum join forces for Record Store Day split 7-inch of Misfits cover songs.

Merge Records and Temporary Residence Limited have partnered to co-release "Horror Business" b/w "Bullet," a limited-edition 7-inch from Superchunk and Coliseum for April 16 - Record Store Day. Limited to 1,500 copies and available exclusively in record stores, the 7-inch cover was designed by Coliseum singer/guitarist Ryan Patterson, with a nod to the artwork from the Misfits’ Three Hits From Hell single. The 7-inch will be issued on three different colors of vinyl: Yellow w/ Black Splatter; Magenta w/ Black Splatter; and standard Black (500 copies of each).

Superchunk will be on Sound Opinions, the world’s only Rock and Roll talk show, this weekend! Superchunk visited WBEZ in Chicago for a full-band live performance and interview with hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot while on tour in December. Sound Opinions airs live on public radio stations around the country, and you can hear the audio on the Sound Opinions website now!
