The Mountain Goats' All Hail West Texas is remastered, reissued and in stores now on CD, LP and digital. Pitchfork named the album "Best New Reissue" writing, "an imperfectly sung ode to all the songs that don’t get sung because of the people who put into the singers’ heads that the only songs worth singing are the perfect ones," while The A.V. Club wrote, "a collection that ushered in a new creative era for a man whose songs were already great."

Superchunk's new album I Hate Music will be in stores on August 20, but you can stream it now at NPR Music. Saint Rich's "Beyond the Drone" is coming! Watch a new teaser and see the band on tour!

Beyond the Drone, the debut record from Saint Rich, will be released on October 1 in the US and October 28 in Europe. Watch a teaser, featuring a passage from the record -- a Harrison-esque slide guitar solo by Steve Marion with string accompaniment composed by Marion and Yeasayer's Anand Wilder, performed by Wilder. Delicate Steve, the cult-favorite New Jersey instrumental outfit which includes Steve Marion and Christian Peslak, is performing tonight at Maxwell's, chosen to play the very last show held at the legendary Hoboken, NJ venue.

Having debuted their double-A-side "Ain't That the Way"/ "Chained to Love" single with a one-time-only CONAN medley performance last month, Divine Fits have now unveiled a pair of lyric videos for the two songs. Watch new lyric videos for "Ain't That the Way" and "Chained to Love" directed by Marianne Spellman now. Two new t-shirt designs--each inspired by one of the new single covers and designed by Grammy award winning art director Michael Carney--are also available now at the Divine Fits store.

Celebrate Merge Records with the Durham Bulls on Thursday, July 18!

The Durham Bulls have invited Merge to provide the walk-up music for the team’s July 18 home game against the Pawtucket Red Sox, which will begin at 7:05 pm. We are celebrating our 24th anniversary this month, and the Bulls are joining the party! The Durham Bulls play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, or DBAP (dee-bap), located just down the road from Merge HQ in the downtown area of Durham, North Carolina.

Polvo returns with Siberia in October

Polvo will release Siberia, their sixth full-length album, on CD, LP and digital on October 1 in the US and October 14 in Europe. During their initial run from 1990–1998, Polvo crafted a sound so fantastically obstinate and so perfectly cockeyed that its DNA is essentially resistant to mediocrity or repetition.
