Peter Buck
Peter Buck is the guitarist and co-songwriter for R.E.M., a rock band originally from Athens, Georgia. R.E.M. has been one of the most influential rock bands of the past twenty-five years, having won numerous awards and touring most corners of the world. Despite having occasional hit singles, such as “Everybody Hurts,” “Losing My Religion” and “Man On The Moon,” “Leaving New York” and “Supernatural Superserious,” R.E.M. has steadfastly maintained its artistic edge, and along with it, the band’s fan base and critical support. Peter and R.E.M. are currently touring in support of their recent release on Warner Bros. Records, Accelerate.
