Phil Morrison
Phil Morrison was born in North Carolina. He directed the movie “Junebug,” for which Amy Adams was nominated for an Academy Award. He directed the TV series “Upright Citizens Brigade.” His music videos include Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Superchunk, The Feelies, Rocket From The Crypt, and many more. He collaborated with Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and artist Tony Oursler on “Perfect Partner,” a film performed with a live score. His most recent TV commercials are the “Mac vs. PC” ads for Apple. He is executive producer of the film “Wendy and Lucy,” which opens December, 2008.
