The Clambakes, Vol. 6: One in a Row, a 64-minute live recording from 1994 of Superchunk’s show at First Avenue in Minneapolis during the Foolish tour. Never ones to hide our clams under a bushel, Superchunk decided to make this gem of a show available to the public. Performed slightly after the release of Foolish I can hear myself struggling to remember how the songs go, and often failing. Can I tell you how much I always wished my band mates would poke fun at me while I was having these moments? There is some comfort in someone acknowledging how badly you just blew it! Well, at least I get it right about half of the time.
