Watch Bob Mould on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight!

Bob Mould will make his debut appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight at 11:30 p.m. EST on ABC. The full band performance of material from Bob’s critically acclaimed current album Beauty & Ruin kicks off the tour beginning September 5 in Philadelphia.

In addition to the Kimmel performance, Live Nation and Yahoo will be live-streaming the September 5 show in its entirety live from the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia. This event is one of 365 concerts to stream over a 12-month period on the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo Screen. The show begins at 10:10pm EST/7:10pm PST on September 5.

Beauty & Ruin was released June 3, debuting in the top 40 of the U.S. album chart and generating some of the most enthusiastic praise of Bob’s career, including:

“ageless… unfettered ferocity and humble grace.” —The A.V. Club

“Few are better at making smart, hooky rock. The title stands in complete contrast to the joy of blasting the song full volume, and getting the feeling that Mould knows himself better than ever.” —NPR Morning Edition

"Mould is on a roll... ranks up there with his catchiest... joyously unconcerned with proving anything to anyone other than the fact that he can still craft hook after hook.” —Pitchfork

“The former Sugar and Hüsker Dü frontman sounds fully invigorated here… Mould rips through 12 bristling guitar-pop tracks that, at their propulsive and tuneful best, recall the classic eras of his much-loved former bands.” —Rolling Stone

Beauty & Ruin is available on CD, LP and digital now in the Merge store. Bob and his longtime bandmates bassist Jason Narducy and drummer Jon Wurster will be touring in support of Beauty & Ruin through the fall. Dates are listed below.
