A Giant Dog took a well-earned power nap after SXSW and is ready to hit the road again! Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, and more: consider this a warning shot. A full list of cities is below; get your tickets today! In the meantime, watch rad music videos for “Jizzney,” “Sex & Drugs,” “Sleep When Dead,” some live videos, or pick up last year’s Pile wherever music is sold.

It’s safe to say A Giant Dog made an impression on all who saw them perform at SXSW. Here are a few examples of the much-deserved love they received:

“I was absolutely blown away by A Giant Dog.” —NPR

“…completely lovable and undeniable with their big riffs, megaton hooks and energetic showmanship.” —Chicago Tribune

“Stooges-gone-new-wave melodic punk songs” —Minneapolis StarTribune

“Austin was made for high-octane, no-frills rock n’ roll, and A Giant Dog was clearly made for Austin.” —NME

“…live shows, marked by Ellis’ Freddie Mercury-channeling, bombastic brilliance, have attracted fervent followers from around the world.” —Austin American-Statesman

“A Giant Dog has been at it for 8+ years and will surely take over the world soon.” —The Bay Bridged

“Austin punk darlings” —The Daily Beast

“Sabrina Ellis thrashed and wailed alongside some of the tightest musicianship that I’ve seen in a live punk rock performance. Guitarists Andrew Cashen and Andy Bauer layer glam T. Rex riffs into a ferocious swirl, that never stops moving.” —Nashville Scene
